Harry Styles' life story
July 2010: Harry Styles doesn't make it through to the Boys category, and says he's 'gutted'.
However, he's called back and placed in a band with four other teenage lads - Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan - who also didn't make the cut.
The group, named One Direction, are put in the Groups category under mentor Simon Cowell.
